¾ cup white whole wheat flour
¼ cup brown sugar
½ cup rolled oats
1 tsp. NutriFit™ Certainly Cinnamon Salt Free Spice Blend (For each teaspoon of the Certainly Cinnamon Blend you may substitute: 1/3 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, 1/4 tsp. cardamom, 1/8 tsp. ginger.)
3 tbsp. trans-fat free, lite margarine, frozen for 15 minutes
1/3 lb. raspberries, fresh or frozen
1/3 lb. blackberries
1/3 lb. strawberries, hulled and halved
¼ cup mini chocolate chips
2/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 dash sea salt
1 tbsp. trans-fat free, lite margarine, frozen for 15 minutes
1/3 lb. blueberries
NOTE: THIS RECIPE MAY USE ANY COMBINATION OF FRESH SEASONAL BERRIES.
1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. Make crisp topping: Mix together flour, brown sugar, rolled oats, and Certainly Cinnamon in a large bowl. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse meal.
3. Make filling: mix berries (any combination) with sugar, cornstarch and salt. Spoon into baking dish or individual pie tins.
4. Top with chocolate chips and crisp topping, covering the berries. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and filling is bubbling, covering loosely with foil if top browns too quickly.
